Welcome to Gilmour Dance Centre
Gilmour Dance Centre has been providing quality dance education since 1994. Gilmour Dance Centre prides itself on providing friendly, caring, professional, and personalised tuition in all facets of Dance. Gilmour Dance Centre specialises in Children from as young as 18months through to Adult Classes. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Tumbling and Contemporary. Performance opportunities, exams and Eistedfods are available to students. The GDC has limited class sizes for individual attention.
Once your child enters the doors to the Gilmour Dance Centre, not only do they become part of the dance school but they also become part of our Dance Family where we support one another and encourage all our students to be the best they can be.

I have been dancing at Gilmour Dance Centre for almost 8 years now and I can honestly say that I've loved every second of it. Not only have I made some amazing memories and life long friends but I've gotten a quality dance education across multiple genres of dance. The teachers at Gilmour Dance Centre are extremely talented and more than experienced at developing great dancers and helping students reach their fullest potential. I think everyone (students and parents included) would agree that they don't just consider 'Mrs Gilmour and Miss Tash' as dance teachers but consider them family, which is very much the aesthetic of the dance school-we are one big family! You won't find another dance school with teachers so dedicated and caring towards their students.

I have been dancing with the Gilmour Dance Centre for over 18 years and I still look forward to my classes each and every week. The Fun, friendly atmosphere makes it an easy and enjoyable way to learn and keep fit.
The Gilmours cater for all levels of ability while pushing every student to be their best.
Through their guidance I have not only become a better dancer but a more organized, confident person. The Gilmours have taught me so much over the years and I am truly greatful to be a part os such a wonderful Dance School.

I've been dancing with Gilmour Dance Centre (GDC) since I was 4, and you could say since then dancing has been my life. I dance 4 days (around 9hrs) a week and I love everything about it, especially because GDC has become my second home - another family. During my time dancing here I've created life long friends and created so many memories and attributes I am very proud and grateful for. I am most grateful for the free spirited, non-judgdmental arena Mrs Gilmour and Natasha have created for me over the years, enabling a workspace where I have grown to dream big and express myself creatively. I am also grateful for the discipline they have instilled in me. It has become a very big part of who I am and because of that I am very appreciative for who the Gilmours have led me to become. Now that I am in grade 12, dancing has become a stress outlet for me and has been a very valuable resource for my final years at school. Now being apart of the centre for 13 years, along with having the ability and gift of dancing, I have created so many memories that I will cherish forever.
